Optimus (Gen 2)

Tesla's general-purpose, bipedal humanoid robot, meant for unsafe, repetitive or boring tasks. Tesla says first-generation Optimus production lines are being installed in Fremont, with early builds used internally to collect training data. The Gen 2 design was shown in December 2023; Electrek reported the next version (V3) still not unveiled in late September 2026.
