Shipyard welding humanoid (with HD Hyundai)

A bipedal welding humanoid Persona AI is designing for HD Hyundai's shipyards under a joint development agreement with HD KSOE and HD Hyundai Robotics, after an earlier prototype passed a feasibility evaluation. It targets hull welding, repair and confined-space work. A prototype is targeted for late 2026, with field tests and commercial deployment in 2027.
