XPeng's own release says its IRON humanoid robot is planned for global rollout in 2027, and TechNode reports a European launch later that year

Two IRON robots stand in XPeng's “Physical AI Museum” at the Paris Motor Show. TechNode reports the full timetable He Xiaopeng gave in Paris: mass production by end-2026, deliveries from the first half of 2027.

XPeng's Paris Motor Show release, datelined Paris, 12 October 2026, is mostly about cars. It also says: “IRON, XPENG's advanced general-purpose humanoid robot, is planned for global rollout in 2027.” Two IRON humanoid robots are on show at XPeng's stand in Hall 6, part of what the company calls a “Physical AI Museum”.

TechNode reported on 13 October that chairman and chief executive He Xiaopeng gave a fuller timetable at the company's Paris event on 12 October. It says XPeng plans to begin mass production of IRON by the end of 2026, start deliveries in the first half of 2027, and launch European promotion in the second half. TechNode also says XPeng has commissioned a dedicated production line.

What changed since yesterday's edition: the Europe date then rested only on Humanoids Daily, a lead source, and no XPeng document carried a date. XPeng's own release now commits to 2027 for a global rollout, and TechNode, a named outlet, attributes the full timetable to He's Paris presentation. The release gives no prices, units or customers for the robot.
