Chery's robot brand AiMOGA brings Mobo, a home-companion humanoid, to its global debut and opens pre-orders worldwide, but gives no price
AiMOGA says it has delivered more than 3,000 robots in over 60 countries and regions. The release gives no price, deposit or delivery date for Mobo.
AiMOGA Robotics, a robotics brand of the Chinese carmaker Chery, said in a release dated Wuhu, 18 October, that Mobo, a home-companion humanoid robot, will make its global debut at the 2026 EXEED International User Summit, which runs from 18 to 23 October, “with pre-orders opening worldwide at the same time.” The release was distributed on The Manila Times' newswire.
Mobo runs AiMOGA's own MoAgent AI system and has 22 degrees of freedom, the release says. It gives no price, deposit, delivery date or exact day on which pre-orders open, so how much a household would pay, and when it would get one, is not visible from here.
AiMOGA uses the summit to show its wider family of robots. Its release claims that “Cumulative global deliveries have exceeded 3,000 units, with operations spanning more than 60 countries and regions”, and that “AiMOGA already has robots in regular operation across more than 100 use cases”. Those are the company's own figures, which no outside source has checked.
Mobo joins a growing list of carmakers moving into humanoid robots. The Switchboard covered XPeng's plan for a global rollout of its IRON humanoid in 2027 on 13 October, and BYD's first humanoid design patent on 10 October. A home robot with open pre-orders but no published price is a signal of intent rather than a product people can yet budget for.
