Accenture reaches a record 141 quarterly bookings of $100m or more, but its results give no separate AI figure
Fourth-quarter bookings were $22.2bn on revenue of $18.7bn. It returned a record $11.5bn to shareholders in the year and guides to 3–6% growth.
Accenture, the consulting and IT services firm, reported its fiscal fourth quarter on 1 October in a results release filed with the SEC.
New bookings in the quarter were $22.2bn, up 4% in US dollars and 5% in local currency. Revenue was $18.7bn, up 6% in dollars and 7% in local currency. For the full fiscal year, bookings were $84.5bn and revenue $74.2bn. The company bought back $7.5bn of stock and paid $4.0bn in dividends.
Chief executive Julie Sweet said the company “returned a record $11.5 billion to shareholders and reached a new high of 141 quarterly client bookings of $100 million or more.”
For fiscal 2027 Accenture expects revenue growth of 3% to 6% in local currency, GAAP diluted earnings per share of $14.39 to $14.81, and at least $9.5bn returned to shareholders.
Press headlines said the record bookings eased fears about AI. The release itself, read twice, gives no separate figure for generative-AI or advanced-AI bookings or revenue, so how much of the quarter was AI work is not visible from here. A reported share jump on the day was seen only in a search result and is not repeated.
