Meta launched Muse at $20 and $100 a month

Meta's personal agent launched September 8 at two subscription tiers. It went to the top of the US App Store, Meta rose about 6% on the day, and the stock is up roughly 25% on the month — its best stretch in years, crossing $700 this week on Muse adoption.

That rally is the context for this week's two setbacks: Amazon cutting the agent off from the largest store in the country, and a Mac zero-day that turned the agent's own permissions into an attack surface. The product is the fastest-adopted AI agent so far and the first to run into what happens when an agent shows up at someone else's front door.
